Beyond Survival: GRACE’s Mission to Rewrite the Stories of Vulnerable Children

Founded on October 8, 2012, GRACE set out with a clear mission: to strengthen families and eliminate vulnerabilities tied to human trafficking and exploitation. As we embarked on our global mission, we became more aware of the harsh realities of child trafficking, which deepened our commitment. Over the past 12 years, GRACE’s work in Thailand has touched countless lives, including our own. The challenges we've faced have been far outweighed by the profound impact God has made through you—our financial and prayer supporters.

Since launching the GRACE child sponsorship program in March 2013, 269 children from over 200 families have directly benefited from our educational, nutritional, and wellness initiatives. Many of these children are now pursuing higher education, enrolling in technical colleges and universities, and even securing promising careers. This transformation is nothing short of miraculous.

Our GRACE family is growing, and today, we’re excited to introduce you to a few of the amazing children in need of sponsorship. Their stories reflect resilience, hope, and the power of community.

Ness & Naam

Ness, a responsible 10-year-old, has always cared for his 6-year-old sister, Naam. Their mother, a single parent, works long night shifts, leaving Ness to manage household duties. Before joining GRACE, he prepared meals, handled the morning routine, and walked Naam to school. But exhaustion took its toll, leading to missed school days.

When Ness' teacher reached out to GRACE for help, the children’s lives changed. Now, Ness and Naam receive afterschool support, homework help, nutritious meals, and even breakfast to take home. Ness dreams of becoming a teacher, while Naam hopes to be a doctor. Both children are thriving, but they still need sponsorship to continue receiving the care they deserve.

Jom & Jan

Jom, born June 30, 2011, is in need of a sponsor. She loves cartoons, cats, and the color black, and dreams of becoming a gardener. Jan, her niece, is already sponsored. A lover of video games and cats, Jan recently turned 10 and aspires to be a teacher.

Ice & Wave

Ice, born March 6, 2017, dreams of becoming a police officer. Her younger brother, Wave, born December 17, 2018, also shares this ambition. They love rabbits and dogs, the colors pink and yellow, and enjoy school and sports. Both are in need of sponsorship.

Bunta & Theidthun

These twins, who just turned six on May 28th, have big dreams. Theidthun loves lions and hopes to become a soldier, while Bunta is fascinated by dump trucks and wants to become a police officer. Both boys are looking for sponsors to support their educational journey.

Setthi

Born on January 27, 2015, Setthi dreams of being an astronaut. He enjoys soccer, drawing, and computer class. His family is involved with GRACE, but Setthi is still in need of a sponsor to support his aspirations.

Benmore

Our youngest member, Benmore, will soon turn five on October 15th. He loves giraffes, toys, and English class, and he dreams of becoming a soldier. Benmore is also looking for a sponsor to help him grow and thrive.

Plang & Dan

Plang, who will turn 11 in October, loves art and dreams of one-day selling toys. Her younger brother, Dan, recently celebrated his sixth birthday. He loves playing with toys and hopes to become a policeman. Both siblings need sponsorship.

Mook & Mayo

Mayo, born on January 9, 2019, and her older sister Mook are both sponsored by East Cobb Baptist Church. Mayo’s joyful personality shines through in her love for coloring, her favorite animal—cats, and her fondness for the color pink. She enjoys eating fried eggs with rice and dreams of becoming a doctor one day.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship from East Cobb Baptist, Mayo and Mook are thriving, showing how support like this can make a profound difference in the lives of children, helping them grow and reach their full potential.

You can provide essential educational, nutritional, and wellness support by sponsoring a child. Together, we can continue to rewrite the stories of these vulnerable children, offering them hope and a brighter future.

If you’d like to sponsor one of these children or make a one-time donation, please visit our website. Your generosity changes lives, and we are deeply grateful for your support.
